Tuner, voicer, working since 2015.
Klaas studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (Organ, Church Music and Choral Conducting) and worked as a choir conductor for many years. Since 2010 he has been working at Flentrop as an independent tuner/voicer; he has been in our permanent employment since May 2015. Klaas is also organist of the Lutheran Church, Haarlem.
In 2015, he made his first major foreign trips to: the United States (Berkeley, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Koganei Church) and Taipei (Chiang Kai-Shek Cultural Center). Klaas counts the re-voicing work on the Hummel-Nitrowski organ in the St. Andreas Parish Church in Olkusz Poland among his most inspiring projects.
