Relocation
Are you looking for a suitable pipe or church organ for your church or concert hall? Or do you already have a pipe organ for which you unfortunately no longer have any room? In such cases, the relocation of an organ can be an appropriate solution to your problem.
Recommendations for a good match
Simply taking over an existing organ is often more economical. But it will not bring you an instrument built to meet your wishes. This is why we deploy our comprehensive expertise and our international network to find the best match for you. In doing so, we consider not only the space in which the organ will be set up, but also the sound you wish it to produce and the particular type of music that will be played on it.
"We understand the sound, the music and the function of the organ, as well as every aspect of its use in religious or concert settings. This is why we are able to judge just what will best suit a specific organ as regards location, use, and your particular wishes for it. By listening to the recommendations of an experienced organ-builder, the final result is sure to be a better one!"
Tuning and optimizing sound
After the assembly we will always re-tune the organ. But sometimes we give the organ a new voice to fit the new location. This can be required, for example, if the instrument is being relocated into a smaller church and the sound proves too strong and harsh for the new, smaller space. Or if the trumpet blares too loudly due to the organ’s having been placed next to a wall.
If required, we also carry out the necessary maintenance work. A relocation of the instrument is often an especially practical moment to perform such work, since the organ needs in any case to be disassembled prior to relocation.
Preservation of acoustic cultural heritage
We are committed to the preservation of organs and of our cultural heritage. When asked, then, to examine a plan to use in some new way a space containing an organ, the first question we ask is: “Must the organ really be removed?” Thus, if a church building, for example, is given some new function we prefer to point up how beautiful the already-present organ is and how keeping it there would add a special charm to the space.
"Every successful relocation helps us to preserve our acoustic cultural heritage. We are proud of our success in finding instruments specifically suitable for particular churches which will continue to fill these churches with their beautiful sounds for many generations to come."

Featured projects
"The organ is a perfect match: modest in size but with significant power and a full principal plenum. Acoustically, it is eminently suitable for accompanying the singing of the congregation but, besides this, also for concerts. Recently, we used it for performances of Haydn’s Organ Concertos. These performances were a great success: the organ harmonized excellently with the Baroque orchestra."
