Organ Builder, employed since 2017.
In 1989 Tacitus completed his Cabinetmaker-Joiner training at the Technical Institute St. Jansberg, Belgium. He then followed a course at the European Center for Conservation, Renovation and Restoration in the same country. Via the French guild organization “Compagnons du Devoir”, Tacitus ended up with organ builder Bernard Aubertin in France, where he discovered the organ building trade. After this internship, Tacitus worked for four years at Flentrop and then for twenty-two years at Pels & Van Leeuwen. Since April 2017 Tacitus has been working once again as an organ builder at Flentrop, where he prepares and assembles the organ parts.
