Organ builder
As a child, Pim enjoyed three things: drawing, playing with Lego, and woodworking. He did the woodworking with friends, and they built everything they could with wood and nails. On Tuesday afternoons, at the age of nine, Pim went to the community center De Eenhoorn to “apprentice” under Mr. Winder, an elderly carpenter who guided him in his projects.
Pim regularly builds organ cases and assists with their assembly. Nowadays, he also serves as a link between “thinking work” and “doing work,” aiming to make processes in the woodworking shop as efficient as possible.
