The completion of the restoration of the Scherer-Bünting organ was marked with a festive inauguration. Friday 6 May 2022 at 6pm was the opening concert with Prof Arvid Gast and Prof Pieter van Dijk.

Saturday followed an organ building project for children and adults, a children’s concert and several lectures by organ builders and organists on the Möllner organ and its history. These included from Prof Krzysztof Urbaniak, Prof Harald Vogel and Flentrop’s Erik Winkel. There were also two concerts with the Marescotti ensemble and Prof Harald Vogel.

On Sunday, the programme closed with a festive service with Thimo Neumann (10.00) and a closing concert (12.00) with Prof Krzysztof Urbaniak.
